.In an effort to share more news from the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the school community we will be sharing a monthly newsletter following each PTO meeting. The newsletter will include PTO meeting highlights, updates from the Midvale and Lincoln principals and staff, and a link to the full PTO minutes.

Relief to Educational Barriers Fund - during COVID 19 School Closings

As our students' basic safety, emotional and physical health directly affects their ability to learn, the Midvale Lincoln PTO board has established a Relief to Educational Barriers Fund during this COVID 19 emergency. These funds will be used to assist students and their families with financial needs such as food, homelessness and eviction prevention, funding to keep phone and internet services, purchasing enrichment activities, household/personal hygiene supplies, transportation, child care and other expenses that have a direct impact on the health and security of our students.
You can donate at any time using a credit card or PayPal.
From the drop down please choose:
  • MWHAC Rent/Bills Covid 19 Assistance - to support rent relief in the general West High School area.
  • Midvale-Lincoln Covid-19 Assistance - to support expenses specific to ML families.  This fund is also used to purchase of diapers and feminine hygiene products for the MWHAC.

While schools are closed, we. are limited in how we can receive checks via mail. If you would prefer to donate by check please contact Jesse Wickizer to make arrangements.
All contributions are tax deductible. For your records, our tax identification number is 26 – 4052664.
We are working with a newly formed group, the Madison West High Area Collaborative which includes Thoreau, Midvale, Lincoln, Leopold, Franklin, Randall, Shorewood & Van Hise Elementary Schools, Cherokee, Wright and Hamilton Middle Schools and West High schools and their Parent Teacher Organizations and is running an official United Way Covid-19 Relief site. They are distributing food and household supplies to families to volunteer to help with this effort. Sign up through the United Way.

NO fees,
NO dues,
NO wrapping paper sales.

If you have a child attending Midvale or Lincoln Elementary Schools, you are automatically a member of the Midvale-Lincoln Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  No dues are required. We are simply a group of parents who want to find ways to meet the needs of all of our students. We plan community-building events, organize volunteers to help teachers and staff, keep our fellow parents informed about district-wide and educational trends and raise money to support all of our classrooms.

Classroom Help
There are many ways for you to help Midvale/Lincoln - both from home on your own time and during the day at one of the schools. Occasionally the PTO receives requests for parent helpers in the classrooms or to help school staff with short term projects.  Make sure to follow us on Facebook and join our email list so that you see those requests. Let’s show the teachers and staff how much we appreciate all that they do by helping lighten their load!
Midvale and Lincoln Gardens
Both our schools have garden spaces that are used through the school year to educate and inspire our students. A little time from you can keep them functioning and beautiful.
