Become a tutor through Schools of Hope
Schools of Hope needs tutors at Midvale and Lincoln Elementary schools who are willing to:
  • Tutor children in literacy, with materials provided by school staff
  • Commit to at least one hour per week on a consistent basis for at least one academic semester.
  • Be placed between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm, based on availability.
If you would like more information about tutoring and/or would like to apply, please contact the Tutor Coordinator at Midvale ([email protected]) or the Tutor Coordinator at Lincoln ([email protected]).
Midvale Gardens
Both our schools have garden spaces that are used through the school year to educate and inspire our students. A little time from you can keep them functioning and beautiful.
Classroom Help
Occasionally the SCO receives requests for parent helpers in the classrooms or to help school staff with short term projects.  Make sure to follow us on Facebook and join our email list so that you see those requests! All Classroom Volunteers must complete the MMSD Volunteer Training.
