Apply for funding

 The PTO supports our teachers and their classrooms in two different monetary ways. 

Classroom fund

Each classroom can request up to $100 per year to use for field trips, supplies or any other classroom/curriculum support. 

Discretionary grant

In the 2019-20 school year, the PTO will distribute $5,000 in discretionary funding to teachers and other school personnel via a grant application and approval process. Qualified applicants may request up to $500 for special projects, supplies, field trips, etc. We will accept grant applications through February 14, 2020, and checks will be cut to the approved applicants within 2 weeks after the deadline. Itemization for multiple items is required in your request, and receipts for requests over $100 will need to be submitted to the PTO Treasurer, Jennifer Losaw, as soon as purchase is complete.

As you develop your grant ideas, please keep in mind that the PTO’s goal in this process is to meet the highest needs and/or serve as much of the Midvale-Lincoln community as possible with each grant request. Before submitting your request please review your proposal with your principal.
